how long are the leather straps
i have 9 wrists. it makes it near impossible to find leather straps that fit. i was thinking of a navitimer with the black leather straps and was wondering how big they were. also, anyone know what a navitimer goes for used?
Temporarily traded by Chrono Avenger
I've temporarily traded my Chrono Avenger for an Omega speedmaster Schumacher Legend on SS bracelet to a collector in Edmonton.Temporarily, meaning both sides have agreed that after two months and if one side decides to want their original babies back, we can do so.I'm waiting for the Speedmaster to arrive and see how it looks and feels. I'm particularly interested in the FP 3301 movement on it with the 9,6 and 3 subdial arrangement with the date at six o'clock. There were reported issues about chrono functionality due to the column wheel, but it has since fixed by Omega. Will post pictures when it comes and we'll see if after two months whether I long for my CA again.
First Patek - 5146 / 5396 / 5205
Fellow Patek enthusiasts,I'd like to hear your thoughts on a first Patek. While I'd love a 5711 in steel, we all know the premium is just too high right now on the 2nd market. I'm OK building a relationship and growing my Patek collection over time. I'm current loving my BLNR and have on rotation a 116520, a 116400GV, a IW3799-01, and a IW3905-02.Let me know what you guys think!
Rotor movement question
How freely should the rotor move on a 335?I've noticed that my normal activity (commute via bicycle to and from work ~12min each way) and walking around work all day (estimated to be 10-20K steps/ day), do not seem to be keeping my recently acquired pre-owned Panerai 335 wound. When viewed through the see-through case back the rotor does not swing as freely as several of my other watches.I do have an identical movement 273 but it is in a safe a few states away from me currently so I do not have the ability to compare at the moment, but from memory, the rotor on that watch moves much more freely. The watch is keeping excellent time - not formally tested, but with 2 weeks of daily wear I have not noticed any creep forward or backward in time shown, no matter the state of power reserve. With the current litany of complaints about Panerai Service Center, I'm a bit loathe to send the watch in unless this is a real issue.
Fellow SkyDwellers, rejoice!
