RO vs ROO -Who is more photogenic?
Contestant #1 : The Royal Oak Offshore (ROO) Diver. Masculine, massive, attention seeking. Gorgeous. Contestant #2 : The Royal Oak 15400 White. Classic, sublime, reflect light like no other. Seriously, I can't decide. 50/50 ? Let the photos do the talking! First the ROO Diver. Then the RO 15400 and RO's secret weapon. It's gorgeous backside! So what you think? Who is more photogenic?
Omega 2200.50.00 Won't Wind Manually
This watch is about 6 years old. After not wearing it for a few days, it was of course dead. I have tried to manually wind and don't get any results. I'm pretty sure I'm winding it correctly and hear a slight whirring sound when doing so. If I shake it around for a while it starts to tick, but doesn't last very long. Apologies for my lack of knowledge. Any ideas? Thanks if advance.
Incomming! Picture Request!!! 3574.51
I have a BNIB...actually it's still in the plastic shipping carton from Omega Speedmaster Professional Last Man on the Moon Watch inbound! I know the watch is the same as the 3570.50 but I would love to see some pics anyway...oh and some nice forum shots of the case back as well. Who's got one?? 3574.51 right?lpoirier on TZ found this for me....Lot 233 of Omegamania 2007 sold example number #1. Jan 21, 2012 - 03:44 PM Their caption read: Ref. SU 345.0226 was made in a limited edition of 3000 examples in 2002 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Apollo XVII mission. This was NASA's sixth and last manned lunar landing mission of the 20th century, and marked the end of the Apollo space program. The emblem depicts the god Apollo and the American eagle with three stars representing the three members of the Apollo XVII team: Commander Eugene A. Cernan, Command Module Pilot Ronald E. Evans, and Lunar Module Pilot Harrison H. Schmitt. I found this on the web...but would LOVE to see REA
Just got my Omega PloProf
OK so I just noticed something very disturbing about myself, it seems the more I hate a watch the very first time I see it the more likely I will fall in love  Hated Panerai==> obsessed with PaneraiHated Bell&Ross==> Had to get a Bell&RossHated the IWC BI Bracelet==> Had to get the BraceletAnd to add the list, I disliked the Omega PloProf, thought it was interesting but just could not pull the trigger as I thought I would never wear it. I slowly began to fall in love with its quirky, ugly, very functional design. My AD sold me an IWC BP recently and said I could get any Omega I wanted for 35% off, hence the PloProf!I do not have my lighting equipment with me so I must apologize for the Roffensian-grade pictures, and again for the non Roffensian-grade review, but here we go:The watch has tremendous history, here is the beginning paragraph of a PloProf introduction:Throughout the 1960s the sport of Skin Diving (now more usually known as Scuba Diving) had been deve
Advice on local AD's
Last day in Carolina and have had a great time, the weather seems to be in flux, flew in expecting cold weather and have had some lovely hot days. I will be back in Feb in North Carolina for another 2 months and wondered if anyone could recommend one of the ADs as I am looking at buying a few watches as supply for some models seems better here in the States. Hardeest part will be which watch to wear for two month, I ent for a classic datejust this time around.
