Omega Crawl With watches-dealer Was Fun With Watches Across Time
A few days before Christmas 2014, watches-dealer invited a group of Los Angeles watch lovers to visit the Beverly Center Omega watch boutique and then to Jackmond, a special store in Los Angeles started by Jack Khorsandi and dedicated to displaying, servicing, collecting, buying, and selling vintage Omega timepieces. Then, after some deep watch appreciation, whiskey (thanks to Jack), and lots of conversation, we headed nearby for a private dinner. One of the most interesting things we saw at the Omega boutique was an early presentation of their new "antimagnetic test." Patek 5960/1A-011
Ever seen this one before ? A special custom order 5960 with a new reference number 5960/1A-011 for the owner of Leicester City. A one of one ?
Just picked up - may actually keep this one...
Had an opportunity to grab a nice 5100R 10-day a few days ago, and while I was skeptical of the size, I really liked the history behind the piece, the slate-grey dial, and a 10-day PR. Plus, once I actually put it on, the size wasn't so bad. The watch is narrow, but tall - and fairly heavy. Besides - how often will you actually be able to get your hands on a 1 of 750 Patek? Sorry for crappy iphone pic, I'll snap a few better ones when I have a minute away from work and kids :)
New GMT, Can the bracelet be swapped?
Does anyone know or think the bracelet can be changed to the BLNR bracelet on the new GMT? I know there are many Jubille lovers, but it's just not for meCheers
