black vs white!
Loving the contrast in the 2... was wearing the dark knight during my vacation in Germany. Time for the whitey now!
Panerai noob
Hello guys,I never thought I'd say this but I started to look at Panerai having dismissed the watch as being the other big black watchAnd boy, was I surprised. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428570041.959346.jpgThis 317 is pretty cool technically. Monopusher 8 day GMT. And the price point (on forums) is pretty decent! So my basic question is: am i going crazy? What's the draw of Pam? I know these complicated models are really for the diehard fans but interested in what the guys in this subforum have to sayCheers!Thinking of a 311 actually...
The saturation point...
No doubt the Internet has fanned the sales of watches to unexpected levels. Volume of watches sold and prices have gone through the proverbial roof since the coming about of the Internet. Even during the “rough” times resulting from the Chinese authorities brief fight against corruption, etc., the demand for Swiss watches has been unprecedented. Heck, the Swiss watch industry has even survived the nefarious trend of gaudy big watches they invented all by themselves. And I must admit that even though I consider myself inmune from the mischievous cunning of the marketing leprechauns, I have fallen repeteadly into their trap and bought watches I wouldn’t have bought otherwise. However, for the past few months I have been wearing my black ceramic dial GMT every day. And the more I wear it, the more I like it and grow attached to it. It seems as if I my limbic system has finally become lucidly saturated with so many watches. And it feels good to be released from the
Sub Date and Milgauss
My current collection. I plan to include 1-2 more pieces: 116600 or SD43, and Daytona C. Thinking I may let the Sub Date go being replaced by the new piece. Or I better let one of the Milgauss go? I want to limit the collection to 8 watches.
At the range this morning with my trusty BLNR and M&P
Quality time with my BLNR. Anyone else? Before anyone asks, I shoot righty, but had to hold the Shield in my left hand for the photo. I have shot off-handed with no apparent problems with the watch.
