Introducing: The Heritage TAG Heuer Monza, A Throwback To One Of The First PVD-Coated Watches Ever M
TAG Heuer showed it had no intention of forgetting its racing heritage when they launched an online competition to pick out the next Autavia. And on the first day of Baselworld, they confirmed we would be seeing a lot more vintage-inspired chronographs, with a re-edition of the famous Monza. 1 OF 3 Launched in 1976, the watch was Jack Heuer's gift to Ferrari's Formula One team to celebrate their (then) partner's surprising title-winning season. A win which Heuer felt deserved an exceptional design C and in the '70s a PVD-coated watch certainly hit the nail on the head. 2 OF 3 The latest version of the Monza re-introduces key features from the original, such as the pulsometer and the tachymeter scale, the original font on the dial, and Heuer's pre-TAG logo. However, the new Monza is best described as a combination of the original Monza chronograph C returning to its iconic black and red color scheme and adding vintage orange SuperLuminova C and the 2000
Any experience with APBands.com?
I'm thinking of putting a hornback on my 44 RG and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with APbandsQuality, fit, feel, etc... how does it compare to the OEM bands?AP has a matt finish strap. Too bad they do not make a hornback for the 44.Particolare Capolavoro Black Hornback Crocodile For Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 44mm ChronographStyle# ROO44-PARTCAPO-BLKThis is the one I'm looking at... any thoughts?
SD for a PO 8500? Huh?
I know most would say don't do it, but ever since I saw the new PO in person I really want it. Actually thought about giving up my SD for one. Crazy or not crazy?
Bought my first Omega what do you think?
I managed to get my first Omega Planet Ocean XL for $2600 in mint condition. The seller has a good rep and everything looks great via the pictures and info he listed. I love big watches and I really like the orange bezel. Did I pay to much at $2600? I really wanted a Sub but couldn't find one I liked that fit the budget. The only think I didn't like was the fact that it doesn't come with a warranty card. The dealer said it was a gray market piece so it didn't come with one. Will this be a problem once it needs serviced? Also, what about a watch winder should I have one of these? I know lots of questions thank you for the help. I should have it tomorrow so i'll post a picture. Thanks Guys
Explorer 1 has landed!
I've been on the hunt for an Explorer I in excellent condition with Box and Papers for a while now. I was anxiously watching the prices rise slowly, and thinking I won't find the deal I'm looking for any time soon. Then I was browsing the classifieds and found exactly what I was looking for, a FULL SET Explorer I in gorgeous condition. I pulled the trigger immediately. (Even came with the original hangtags)I would like to give a huge shoutout to Takuya. This was my first transaction with him, and I could not be more pleased. The watch and all the accessories where well packaged when they arrived, the watch was in the exact (beautiful) condition as in the pictures. Furthermore he was a pleasure to communicate with and answered all my emails in an extremely timely fashion. I will not hesitate to do businesses with this great seller again, and can wholeheartedly recommend him.Now to a wrist shot, as no incoming is complete without it!Best, LukaP.S: How can I upload High Quality pictures?
