SIHH 2014 Preview: 3 New IWC Aquatimer Watches
In keeping with recent tradition, IWC has put its marketing focus on one watch collection for 2014. This year, it’s the Aquatimer, the brand’s line of divers’ watches. Here are three new models in the revamped Aquatimer collection, which makes its full debut at January’s SIHH watch fair.In a press release for the new Aquatimer collection, IWC reveals that the 2014 Aquatimer watches will be distinguished by a new type of internal/external rotating bezel, will contain even more in-house IWC movements, and will feature a patented IWC bracelet quick-change system. Looks like many are getting but don't think I have seen any delivered to the US yet. Can't wait such a beautiful watch and the prictures of the lucky few that have received them making it harder.

Phone on meltdown ...... after launch today
I decided to take a trip down to my local AD today this morning prior to the reveal of the new models.The AD has changed the rules on the waiting list and will only add you to the list for a particular piece if you arrive in the shop in person.They decided to change the rules today and not take phone reservations.So i sat in the shop whilst Rolex updated their website. I added my name to the list for the gmt pepsi steel at no 1Then the phone started ringing and did not stop. I left the shop to grab a snack and called back in 25 min later to see if the phone had stopped ringing.It had not . If they had taken all the phone reservations they estimated the list would have been about 12 years for their stores allocation.Rolex looks as though they may have hit a home run......
