Scuderia Ferrari Formula Italia Watches: "Made In Italy" & Affordable
On watches-dealer, if a watch with "Ferrari" in the name is mentioned, you will probably think of Hublot. That is mostly accurate, since Hublot is an official partner of Ferrari and their official high-end watch making partner which started back in 2011. So while Hublot makes all of Ferrari's most expensive timepieces, there needs to be a collection of Ferrari watches for everyone else. The company that has that privilege is Movado. In 2012, I covered the Movado Ferrari watches here that replaced the "sun" on the classic Museum Dial watch with the Ferrari prancing horse logo. There is also the Scuderia Ferrari watch brand, produced by the Movado group but without any Movado branding and sold on Ferrari's main merchandise site. These watches only have the Ferrari logo on the dial and may also say "Scuderia Ferrari." Very affordably-priced and "Made in Italy," the Scuderia Ferrari watches have been around for a while, and new for 2015 are the Scuderia Ferrari Formula Italia and Formula It
Linde Werdelin 3-Timer GMT Watch
The Linde Werdelin 2-Timer watch (that I reviewed here) is growing up to be the 3-Timer. The differences are enough shed new light on a watch that had never even lost a sparkle of shine. With the 3-Timer you get a more elegant look with less emphasis on sport, heading into the, this watch goes with a suit range. Wearing the 2-Timer with business attire would make you look a bit like a superhero with a secret identity who accidentally forgot to remove one of their outfit components.Linde Werdelin has created a totally new dial with a textured face, with new hour indicators that are smaller and designed to be more soothing on the eyes. The GMT hand has also been redesigned and is now more classic looking with its long arrow-tipped look. Inside the watch, the ETA 2893-A2 movement features an easy set GMT complication that moves the GMT hand around in one hour increments for precise adjustments which makes it very convenient. The name 3-Timer refers to the fact that you can track up to
Suunto Core Line Is Anything But Middlestream Wrist Computer
Last year Sunnto released the Core series of watches, attempting to merge style with Sunnto's almost legendary mixture of features and functions in what they call "wristop computers." The Core line does a great job of combining the functions that Suunto is known for. You get an altimeter (measuring altitude), barometer (barometric pressure for weather status and predictions), thermometer, digital compass, depth meter (up to 30 meters), sunrise and sunset times, and of course all the other features you would expect such as a timer, stopwatch, alarms, full calendar, and dual times. You might be saying to yourself, "sure it can do all that, but I'll never remember how to use it or access all that information." This is a valid concern, but to be honest, my experience with Suunto watches (I do own one) is that they are incredibly logical to use. The 5 available buttons on the case make it so that you don't need to frequently dive through menus or function trees to get what you want. If I h
4weeks 4rolex!
Hi TRF, I realize when I'm active on the forum, I start buying. In the pass 4 weeks or so, I have purchased 4 Rolex's. You may have seen my post before or the purchase of the 116509 steel dial Daytona, followed by the Batman. This week Monday i pick up my first vintage Rolex, a Sub circa 1985. Thou I am not a vintage smart but I met Fred RED1108NYC , whom share a lot of his knowledge with me in the purchase. Over all I'm happy to with my purchase and since I'm just starting into vintage I'm only buy 1985, starting off with my birth year. Yesterday a second vintage arrived, watch was serial dates to 1984, but the original purchase receipt was 10/10/1985, thou its not my birthday but it's close. I decided to make the move to purchase it from John SPRINGER . Yesterday was busy, just had the chance to try the watch and whoa for a 32 year old watch I can't believe the condition it was kept in. Very pleased. Again very please with my purchase from both TRF members, it is my first time buyi

Hi guys, I know that the rolex boutiques in london are a collaboration between the dealer and rolex and i'm curious as if you can negotiate discounts at the boutiques like you do in a authorized dealer store? Also is it too much if i expect the discount for full gold pieces like the daydate and president lady datejust to be 20%? thanks in advance.
