Here's trouble
Ok, I know this will be controversial but what the heck. I know this is a sub-forum of Rolex, so I expect there to be a lot of love for sports patek watches. However, the aquanaut/nautilus designs seem straight 1970's to me. I love the calatravas and complication pateks, but I don't have the love for the sports models. They're stealthy, I guess, and have the solid patek movement - but they look dated to me, and I'd never jump off the high-dive with such an expensive watch like I would with my subc. I know it's just personal preference, and I didn't even know there were patek sports models until I joined the forum. Do folks use these models in the ocean/pool or are they more likely to be desk divers than even the rolexes. I'm not trying to offend, just trying to understand.

Is my brand new Aquanaut Broken or do PP just suck???
Sorry for sounding frustrated but am going back to see my AD. I did read in someone's thread that the self winder can be heard on PP watches (but i don't expect that is every second of the day). I am Ok with hearing while going through real motion, just as you can hear it in a Rolex as well as my GP when you shake the watch and have it relatively close to your ear. My Aquanaut can be heard with a sound that's like ball bearings going around in a race when doing such menial tasks as typing on my PC at work. This CANNOT be right, if it is, my PP experience is going to be REALLY SHORT (as in less than a week). I would not be expecting to hear something like this in a $100 mechanical seiko (in fact I had one once and it did not make a noise). Beyond that I love the look.It is keeping perfect time so I really think this might be as good as it gets if so..... my PP dream is done. Hi,I am in the process of buying a Rolex GMT Master 2 with serti dial and brown(?)/ root beer dial. I am very unsure whether this is an original or if it has been modified. It is a 2005 production, sold first time in 2006. It comes with certificate and two boxes. Should it also say anything about the dial and the bezel in the certificate?I am having trouble uploading the picture from my mobile... Thanks for all replies.
