MB&F Arachnophobia Table Clock Is Giant Time-Telling Spider On Your Desk Or Wall
We've come to expect the sublime, the ridiculous, and everything in between from MB&F?C but if anything, we have most come to expect the unexpected. Now celebrating the tenth anniversary of its establishment, over the last decade, MB&F has gone on to create some?rather stunning wrist-worn "Machines" C as they also like to call them C and, only two years ago in 2013, introduced their first non-watch item with the MusicMachine (hands-on here). A Robot clock and a Star Wars TIE-fighter music box later, today, we meet their latest creation in the form of a massive, time-telling spider: the MB&F Arachnophobia table clock.Telling the time may appear to be a logical primary function for the?MB&F Arachnophobia table clock, but there clearly is a lot more going on than just that: inspired by an enormous sculpture created by Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010), the MB&F Arachnophobia is far smaller but no less ghoulish than its famous forerunner. The Bourgeois sculpture is called M
Another Safari question
Hello everyone, I've been lurking around the AP forums for a couple of weeks now. I can't stop thinking about purchasing an AP ROO Safari. It's odd because I remember a year or two ago on the Rolex forums WRUW daily threads members would post pictures of Their ROO's and I just didn't get it. They did nothing for me. Now after some time and gaining some more insight from fellow members I think the AP Safari may be my grail. Anyway, I'm a very impulsive person and I do not want to drop close to $18k without putting some serious thought into it. Just curious as to how AP ROO's hold their value as opposed to other luxury brands such as Rolex. Not that I would ever consider selling it but just for peace of mind. None of my WIS friends know much about AP's and I very rarely even see them in the wild or for sale. Any other advice or enabling would be greatly appreciated. Thanks TRF!
the return of the prodigal son
I am selling my flat in Paris and amongst other things have decided to. Of course, get my 5712 back, well won't be the same but a BNIB like my first, and I have been thinking a lot about what third watch I should add, thought of a RM, 055 black or 35-01, but have realized I have not reached the level in my watch journey where I would feel comfortable wearing a 80-100K watch on the wrist, maybe one day when I'm older or my funds are much greater.Have also thought of getting the Lange Perpetual Datograph, but same having that kind of money on the wrist is a little too much for me at the moment, and the serious weight would bother me, also I'm not really a leather guy, and I don't think that it would look nice with a rubber strap, though a grey one might look cool with the grey fail, but animals it's out.I had also thought about getting an RG watch, AP at first either the 44 but I'm afraid it will be too heavy for me and as much as I love RG I'm french and for those who know the french w
