A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le Merite" Watch
2011 will experience the release of this new fusee and chain transmission watch from Glashutte, Germany based A. Lange & Sohne. To be honest, fusee and chain movement watches excite me a lot more than tourbillons. Not that they are mutually exclusive, but I really love the idea that there is a tiny hand-made (bicycle style) chain in a watch helping to move power from the mainspring to the movement. Plus, a fusee and chain is a lot more useful for accuracy and rate reliability than a tourbillon is.? Today there are only a few brands that offer watches with fusee and chain complications. The three that I can think of off the top of my head are A. Lange & Sohne, Breguet, and Cabestan. Who am I missing?Cabestan does the fusee and chain best because they make it visible on the dial. On This lovely Lange you'll have to peek around through the back of the watch for views of the chain. If you look at the movement image in this post you can see bits of the chain wrapped around the brass
Can someone help me to make decision!
Hey guys, I'm new here, so I'm thinking about buying RO 15400 black face or RO 15450 white face, I really want something like 15202, but they are overpriced, and 15450 seems to be close, seller said that 15400 fits me better, and I like black dial! so I really can't choose, my wrist is around 7 inch and here is the photo of diver's fitting on me! I don't like 15300 at all! Thank ya all for helping)Отправлено с моего iPhone используя Tapatalk
popped into the AD and found these for sale
the 59601a has a tax free price of $51500 NZ dollars which i thought was pretty good buying!!
Lesson learned my friend
Here are the facts:1. Had the opportunity to buy a DSSD. 2. Thought I'd be clever and trade crypto instead, and then be able to buy a DSSD for everybody on the block.3. Portfolio up 125% after two weeks of trading.4. Decided to keep going.5. Today at a loss of 50%.6. Cry myself to sleep tonight.Lesson: just buy the damn watch next time. Submariner website / blog help
Good morning gents,I'm just looking for some help, while looking online one day I found a website or blog I can't remember which but it was written by one man and dedicated to the Rolex submariner. The website/ blog seemed to be written by a fan at least that's the impression I got from reading it. He went into extreme detail about every aspect of the watch from the history to the construction it and also contained very detailed diagrams that I have never seen online before such as how the pearl is constructed etc. I have been searching for months trying to find this gold mine of information with no luck at all so I thought perhaps some of the forum members might be able to help? Many thanks,Hunter
