Parmigiani Bugatti Tourbillon Watch + Bugatti Galibier 16C Car
It was years ago now - more than 10- when I first saw what was to become this Bugatti Galibier 16C Concept car. It was the Bugatti EB 218, a concept that shared the same fastback shape and uber luxury stance as this close to production Bugatti Galibier 16C automotive. Perhaps the EB 218 was a bit more attractive, but certainly not as advanced. Car lovers have known for a while now that Bugatti was to follow up its money losing 16/4 Veyron over a million dollar car, with other vehicles. Little is known about the details of this Bugatti Galibier but it will not be the significantly lower priced sports car we are looking forward to. It is an all new sedan, also with a 16 cylinder 8 liter engine and a two-stage supercharger. What is interesting about the engine is that it is made to be a Flex Fuel motor. Meaning it can accept standard gasoline as well as ethanol. No, it is not being marketed by GM. The car also features a substantial amount of carbon fiber as well as the large polished alu
Which for a first Nautilus? 57261/A or 5712R?
Hypothetically speaking, what will be your choice for a first Nautilus if you are to choose between these two models? Here are the models along with my analysis of their (+) and (-). I am not considering any Nautilus with a bracelet. The 57261/A with strap(+) Lower Cost compare to 5712R(+) Versatile, better for daily(+) Additional Strap (+) Love the AC complication, it's actually useful to me(+) Looks (-) SS only (-) Thicker case profile (-) Same complication as my existing PP 520andThe 5712R (+) It's Gold! (+) Slim case profile(+) Relatively less expensive compared to other Gold Nautilus(-) Asymmetric dial and hard to read dial design(-) No useful complication
Trying to gauge "fair" price (gift for wife)
I'm looking for a gift for my wife and know she's wanted a Rolex for some time. I've been out of the buying game for some time, so want to gauge what is a good price for what I'm looking for:SS OP 34 (114200)Silver dialFrom an authorized dealerMSRP is $5,050 and while I don't want to run afoul of any rules regarding discussions of specific dealers or prices paid, I'm trying to gauge what I should shoot for in negotiations. When she looked at this watch a few years ago, we were told 20% discount (but we ended up buying a house instead...) and I'm not sure whether that's still the going rate or not. Thanks.
Daytona 116520 Series Question
I'm a bit of a noob in terms of the 116520 variations. I understand there are differences from production years (dial variation, lume, clasp, rehaut, fat hands, etc).My question would be for you experts, in general which year is most/least sought after?Thank you.
