Christophe Claret Poker Watch For Luxury Wrist Gaming
Less than two weeks ago watches-dealer previewed the newest mechanical gaming watch by Swiss Christophe Claret. Able to play a full game of Texas Hold 'em, the Christophe Claret Poker is the most complicated mechanical gaming watch this or any other watch manufacture has ever produced. As we previously mentioned, this is the third and perhaps final in a collection of limited edition ultra-luxury "toy" timepieces meant for whimsy and fun, and the exploration of all that can be done in a time wrist-worn mechanism.It all started with the Christophe Claret Blackjack 21, but did you know that it was not what he intended to release first? In fact the Poker was to be his first gaming watch but it proved a bit more complicated than his team anticipated. So back in 2011 Christophe Claret released a watch that played Blackjack which would eventually lead up to the Poker watch piece now in 2014. New AP Royal Oak Offshore chrono 37mm
Did anyone see this one? It was announced at SIHH 2010. Pricey at $17,000MSRP, but I likey. I think the case thickness measues in the 13mm range. I am a huge fan of the Royal Oak Offshore line, but the 44mm (or maybe 42mm?) case size and thick case was always a turn-off for me. Price wise, some what out of my league. I can always dream or hope for a deep discount in the pre-owned market some day. I found this link while surfing on another watch forum. I am a committed Rolex fan.Love them.Yet, I have to say pound for pound the Omega seamaster is amazing..Watch, box, extras, booklets..its like Rolex used to be when you got dive tables and anchors...

A Question for Canadians
Hello All--I am looking to purchase my first watch internationally and have narrowed my choices down to an Omega Seamaster SMP 2254, Planet Ocean 2200.50, or Rolex Sub. Okay so here's my question directed to Canadians, or those whom can provide some insight:What were the costs incurred (if any) for importing these timepieces into Canada? How exactly are these costs broken down? And as a first time watch buyer, are there any other considerations that should be taken when cross-border buying? BTW, I intend to have them mailed to me, or else I would buy one and wear it back up.Forgive me if this subject has been covered extensively in the past--this is my first day on the forums.

Tudor Black Bay Purchase
I've been browsing these forums for weeks and I'm finally ready to purchase a Tudor Heritage Black Bay. The AD near me has both ETA versions and the in house available. I'm not going to ask which is better I like both. I'm worried if I get the ETA I'll be disappointed I didn't get the newest version but at the same time I enjoy some of the aesthetics of the ETA and yet I do enjoy having the latest tech. How should I decide?
