Hey everyone! First time in this neck of the woods so be nice I have always been a Rolex and Omega guy. I recently acquired my first Panerai and as you can guess I have my heart set on a Royal Oak as my next watch.For lack of a better term, the Royal Oak 15400st has been sort of a grail for me, except unlike most true grails, I can own this watch one day. The question is, when? I've recently blown through my toy budget, so no matter what my next watch will likely not arrive in the very near future. Especially since venturing into the $15,000 range for a watch will take me a little while to be ready to commit.With that said, there are of course other, cheaper watches that I love. ROO steel bracelet
I have seen pictures of ROOs with steel bracelets on models which were only available from (Authorised) dealers with a leather strap, and I have a few questions about possibly doing this to my watch...-I believe the ROO steel bracelets are larger and thicker than regular RO bracelets so a normal RO bracelet would not fit?-is it possible to buy a steel bracelet from an AD or does my watch need to be sent to AP? If the 2nd, do they keep the leather strap?-what is the approximate cost.Thanks in advance.

What ref should I buy
HiI am currently considering adding a Patek but am unsure as to which one to go for (for reference I currently have a speedmaster, 116710ln and a 5513 sub from early 70s). Until recently I was planning to get a AP15300 White dial and in a couple of years add a Patek classic complications model in gold (likely 5146) but I am now also considering the following options - 5167 and Patek 5146 - 5711 and Patek 5146My main considerations are- whilst 5167 is nice it's a lot for a watch on rubber and at list the difference to 5711 is not that significant but it may be nice as something different (more sporty - nautilus is to me something in between sport and dress watch) assuming I am anyways getting a 5146 or similar and have a couple of steel Rolexes - is 5711/5167 overpriced/overrated in general even at list and better to get a ap15300 plus 5146 as was my original thought ( I don't want the 15202 as no seconds hand, tried it on recently)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
