Corum Round Golden Bridge Limited Edition
To celebrate the brand’s 55th anniversary, Corum is re-issuing some of its classic models in limited series. One of them is the Round Golden Bridge featuring the legendary C0113 baguette movement. This caliber accommodates 140 components in a space just just 33mm long, 3mm high and less than 5mm thick. This mechanical, hand-wound caliber is equipped with a variable-inertia balance beating at a frequency of 4 Hertz or 28,800 vph. Other technical features include a barrel equipped with slip-springs, a 40-hour power reserve, as well as the solid gold hand-engraved mainplate and bridges. The 41mm case is suitable for a man or a woman and the open design allows the movement to be viewed from all angles. Even the hands are openworked so as to hide as little of the movement as possible. The Round Golden Bridge will be issued in a limited edition of 75 pieces, priced at $25,000. Complete specifications appear below the image, which may be enlarged with a click.SpecificationsReference: 113.2
Piaget Altiplano Skeleton Ultra-Thin Automatic Watch
For 2012 Piaget will release this very special watch that furthers their desire to be the thinnest around in a number or categories. Last year it was the Altiplano 43 Automatic that was the thinnest automatic watch with the thinnest automatic movement. This year (perhaps among other "record" things) Piaget will offer the thinnest skeletonized automatic watch around with this strikingly good looking Altiplano Skeleton Ultra-Thin timepiece. The Altiplano Skeleton Ultra-Thin is technically another "double record holder." That means it has the thinnest automatic skeletonized movement and the thinnest case for an automatic skeletonized watch. The Piaget in-house made Caliber 1200S is just 2.40mm thick while the entire case is just 5.34mm thick. This all makes for extremely wafer-like wrist wear.In a 38mm wide case the Piaget Altiplano Skeleton Ultra-Thin is yet another good-looking watch with black dauphine hands. The black & white gold look is very handsome. You see more of that for the
AP ROO 47th Street - 42mm or 44mm
Question for the pro's:There is conflicting info on the size of the case, does anyone know for sure? I know that most pre 2013 cases are 42mm, but there are some exceptions (GP ofcourse, but also Alingni). Does anyone know if this one is 42 or 44? I have big wristst so need a 44.Thanks a lotChris
Pam 233 - Which series?
If I want the dot dial, which series is best? Are there any known issues with particular series? Also, does anyone have a list of the series and their respective years? Thanks!
Nick on inner lug
Can this nick/blemish on the lower left inner lug be polished out easily during an RSC service or will it need to be laser welded? Sorry for the poor qualify pics.. Thank you,
