Marvin Watches Launch in the USA This Fall
Swiss watch brand Marvin is launching a new collection in the United States. The 160 year old brand offers more than 110 styles of men's and women's watches for sale in the U.S. this fall. Retail price points range from $780 to $2,500 for watches with mechanical movements. Marvin watches feature automatic and manual winding movements, as well as quartz. Some models offer display backs. Both automatic and quartz watches are made with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Marvin watches are available in a variety of styles. The brand’s signature color – red – at eight o'clock and on the inside of the leather band is one of the brand's distinguishing features. Opinions on a new strap...
Ok so I went into the local AP boutique and looked at a few straps of which they can sell me NONE! Order only as the ones on display are not for sale... leaving a little disgruntled I went into a AP dealer across the road and they had a few in stock (black , black rubber , usual etc..) however they had a special customer order white hornback that the customer changes his mind on. Now I was looking for a white rubber to put on my Safari but the white hornback has my attention now.....Thoughts on what a white hornback would look like on my Safari? Keeping in mind mine is the previous model with cream dial
Liquidmetal vs ceramic
Hey guys, is Liquidmetal and the ceramic on the new PO Cal. 8500 the same thing?Or can you only get Liquidmetal in those limited addition watches? Thanks.
315 - 324
I searched for this but was not very effective/successful. What year did PP replace the 315 movement with the 324 in the 5127 series? Was it a specific model year or was it slowly phased in over time? I've seen some other sites suggest around 2009 but nothing specific. Thanks. andy.
