Watch Experts Network: ‘Authentic NASA velcro strap C Speedy Tuesday meets Strap Review’
If you start to explore the world of Speedmasters and Omega in general one name you will come across is the late and great Chuck Maddox. Many things we know today are results of his thorough research, which is still a reference point for a lot of topics. Let that be a Speedy Pro, a vintage Heuer or vintage chronograph in general; he had his hands in everything. And boy was he ingenious. So ingenious that his works inspired a lot of people to start their own research, buy their first watch, or like the subject of this article, make their own authentic NASA Velcro strap. As Phil (or Kizzi known by members on watch forums and eBay) a veteran Speedy wearer for 40 years puts it: always thought it would be cool to have a watchband linked to Apollo to go with the watch, but the ones available never looked like flown ones sold at auctions or from the NASA image archive, and that always puzzled me. Need a part for a 7806
I just bought a 7806 from 1972, with box and papers (sold in 1973).The watch came with an aftermarket crown, which I'd like to replace with a correct Breitling crown. My watchmaker ordered a crown, but the new crown didn't fit.Can anyone tell me of a source to buy a correct Breitling crown for the 7806 Navitimer? Thanks.

However, back in December of 2000, one man recalls reading that phrase with disdain as he's shopping with his wife for a matching watch set. Cindy Crawford's choice the man read the ad aloud sarcastically. Omega and Rolex... b8ah!, they'll NEVER be MY choice! uttered the budding WIS who thought he knew everything there was to being a sophisticated watch collector as he took comfort in his ability to recite the names of hallowed manufacturers that produced watches more complicated and higher in cost than either of the two aforementioned brands. What was it that so bothered this man so about these two brands? Two main factors came to mind he thought at t
Yes you can!!!
Can I put out weed killer in the yard? Can I hand was some dishes? Can I clean out the refrigerator? Can I hook up my utility trailer and load my John Deere? All while wearing my Rolex? The answer is YES!!!! I just did all of these things while wearing my TT Datejust with diamond dial. You ask WHY or HOW? Because I bought a Rolex not some sissy watch!!
