Roger Dubuis (the brand) has had a very interesting history over the last 15 years or so - and none of what I am referring to has anything to do with their watches. The man Roger Dubuis started it 1995. He was later ousted from his own brand by a guy who I heard sort of force him to sell it. Then the brand underwent a massive lawsuit in the US (which they lost). Then Richemont bought it and decided they would try to bring back Roger Dubuis into the light. Then George Kern was appointed the CEO by the Richemont board to try and make something good of the brand as well as strengthen the movement manufacturing, and now Roger Dubuis himself has been rehired by the brand he started himself a while ago that was going on for so long with his name and not his blessing. Tried on Galactic 41
I was near the Breitling dealer and had some time to kill, so I went in. I tried on the Galactic 41 with grey dial and I have to say what an amazing watch! It's the perfect size and has a no nonsense dial. Who here has the Galactic 41?

Manual wind speedies....comments?
As of late, i have been infatuated with the original moon watch but the problem is that they are all manual winds, not autos. Anyone own this timepiece and found it to be a pain to be winding your watch every morning? Also, are there mechanisms to protect you from over winding the watch? Any comments will be welcomed.Thanks.

Would you sell 233 for a Dark Side of the Moon?
I know the watches are very different, but lately the Omega dark side of the moon has really caught my eye, and really conflicted as to whether I should sell my 233K dot dial to fund it. I consider the 233 to be one of Panerai's modern classics, and my only manual wind watch. But the DSotM is just so well constructed, and I really like the all ceramic construction (including pushers, crown, and dial), and both the polished and brushed effects on the watch. It also has a great in-house movement, just like the 233.Unfortunately I can't keep the 233 and get the DSotM, so if you are in my position, would you sell the 233? Appreciate everyone's input and thoughts. Will also post in the Omega sub-forum to see how the reactions differ
