Omega and Tourbillon Boutiques Present Apollo and Gemini in Las Vegas
Astronauts from the landmark Gemini and Apollo NASA programs will join Omega and Tourbillon in Las Vegas to celebrate an exhibit featuring rare artifacts from the iconic space missions. The exhibit will showcase a Lunar Rover, an Apollo 10 space suit and Mars Rover, and Omega Speedmaster watches. The exhibit runs from October 20th to 24th at City Center and is open to the public. In addition to the exhibit, Omega and Tourbillon will host an invitation-only VIP cocktail reception Thursday, October 20th from 6 p.m. �C 9 p.m. at the Tourbillon boutique. The reception will honor Gemini and Apollo astronaut Lt. General Thomas Stafford and Apollo 17 astronaut��and last man to walk on the moon��Captain Gene Cernan. While the two big releases for Patek Philippe at Basel World this year both happened to be in stainless steel (the new Nautilus Chrono Travel Time 5990 / Annual Calendar Chrono 5960A), it's worth noting that one of its more understated and elegant, but important, timepieces received two updates. The reference 5140 is Patek's round, traditional perpetual calendar, and this year we saw two brand new dials.It is the follow up to the iconic 3940, which is considered to be one of the most important pieces of Patek's modern history – many consider it, along with the 3970, the first serially produced truly complicated timepiece. Its 20-year reign came to an end in 2006 when Patek showed the 5140, which would use the same ultra-thin, self-winding, micro-rotor-powered caliber 240Q. Where do you source your Pateks?
Other than ADs, can anyone recommend good, reliable, professional sources for Patek Philippe watches?Obviously, a new/current offering may be (relatively) easy to track down, but what about a reference that's no longer in production? (How do you track down a reference no longer in production?)Who do you trust and why?I have had good success working with many different sources for different brands, but at this price point it's hard to accept the risk of working with someone without references. Any thoughts and suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

Polish question
Picked this up a couple of days ago, and installed it on a strap, as I prefer them over bracelets. Just wanted to some opinions on how heavily polished it may have been. I know it was polished as it was serviced by Rolex around 5 years ago. Over polished or O.K.? Thanks.
