Concord C1 Eternal Gravity
Concord might have dubbed this unique piece the Time Warp. Just looking at it transports me back a few years to those giddy days of carefree spending. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the $1.2 million C1 Eternal Gravity was not created with the U.S. market in mind. As we all know, the watch words here (pun intended) are sensible, rational, and reasonably priced. Whereever you live, the one-of-a-kind C1 Eternal Gravity lays down some serious numbers. The case measures 48.5 mm in diameter and 18.5mm thick. The sapphire crystal is 3.3mm thick. Then there are the gemstones. The 18K white gold case is set with 227 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 20.17 carats. The dial adds a further 100 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 1.40 carats and 34 carnelians totaling 1.88 carats. The crown alone sports 26 baguette-cut diamonds weighing 1.30 carats. All together, the C1 Eternal Gravity puts an impressive 403 stones totaling 25.31 carats on your wrist.Inside the ice palace resides the hand-wou
Good to be back!
Have been staying away from AP for a while. Good to be back with this beauty.I actually bought a SS Novelty yesterday. Sold it back to seller today and got this instead. Will use this piece as a beater! Hope it will hold up well.I am happy man now.
Speedmaster Pro twins, but some facial differences
Hi allDo the dial markers appear different. Was the lume applied differently, or was the dial on the right touched-up at some point?thanks in advance
When is "No Price Increase" a Price Increase?
Rolex so far has not increased prices in the US. One can buy any watch at the price it was last year and the year before from an AD (not from a GD). All you have to do is buy from the AD who doesn't have the model which is desired but can supply it if multiple watches are purchased or can supply a PM version of the watch but not the SS standard. The ADs may make the same percentage but make a greater total profit on each watch sold or each sale. The manufacturer realizes a higher profit on each watch it sells (PM vs SS). But no price increase. Yup. I'm buying two tone GMT at a considerably higher price than the Red and Blue staple because in this case I like the watch but also because in this case there will never be an available version of the SS model for me. It is a price increase on the order of $5000. QED.
116520 lume years.
I'm still on the look out for a 116520 and am narrowing it down (initially wanted a 16520).Now it seems some have green lume and some have blue.I'd prefer blue if I have the option. Does anyone know when the lume changed from green to blue?.Thanks
