Romain Jerome Watches + DeLorean Motor Company
They are coming soon - the Romain Jerome DeLorean DNA watches. Swiss Romain Jerome has partnered with DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) - now based out of Texas - for some interesting new upcoming timepieces. The watches will all share the core Romain Jerome DNA philosophy of honoring fascinating events and items from our history with timepieces that actually each contain trace amount of items from those events. In this case the watches are said to contain sheet metal from the original car bodies.A pop culture icon solidified for eternity by the 1985 film "Back to the Future," the story of the DeLorean DMC-12 and the company behind it is a fascinating tale unto itself. Existing automobiles are highly collectible and regularly restored. As a car the DMC-12 never quite lived up to its potential due to the failure of the company at the time, but as a design item it almost epitomizes an era. Romain Jerome spent a lot of effort seeking out a partnership with DMC, which recently became a reality.

I'm currently saving for my first super nice watch. I've loved Submariner forever, but have also been a long time fan of the Speedy Pro. I haven't completely made up mind yet about which one I'm saving toward! Great to see everyone.

There was a thread recently proclaiming the demise of Patek because TAG came out with a cheap turbillion. Well- here you go- a 160k retail tour billion piece selling for 24k. Which means those TAGs likely will go down to a few thousand dollars on the secondary market.forums.timezone/index.php...=0#msg_7281057A Patek is a Patek for a reason. While all don't retain their value, taking an almost 140k hit on a piece is bonkers.

Just got my 114060 today to complete what I anticipate will be my 3 piece set for the next several years. DateJust - Dress with black shoes. IWC - Dress with brown shoes. Sub - All-purpose. Thoughts? Would you pay retail + tax on a Bruiser?
Hello, I have been looking for a GMT for a bit (couldn’t decide between Pepsi or BLNR). Today I went to my Local AD and he has a bruiser GMT New in the Box at retail + 8% tax. That watch is stunning and I think I prefer it over the Pepsi. Good deal?
