What type of steel does AP use?
I've done some internetting but can't find out. Do they make their own blend? 306? 904? Something else?

Here's how the day starts....Standard morning except the kids don't have school so they are sleeping in. I get up and jump in the shower, some new bar of soap in there, smells nice. Turned 40...Wife always delivers...incoming tomorrow.
Not usually a big fan of long in coming threads, but in this case could not help myself. I turned 40 last month. My wife and I went on a weekend vacation this past weekend, and while we were there she suggested we go in the AD, who we know and have bought multiple watches from, to just check out what they have, since 40 is a big deal apparently. I had mentioned to her that I might be interested in getting a James Cameron deep sea, and I know they've had several in the past. She seemed amenable to that. We walked in, and were immediately met at the door with a hug by the owner we know well, who happens to be from her hometown. Anyway, he proceeds with oh my gosh, your timing is perfect. 18206 bezel
Did the 18206 ever come with a fluted bezel? I'm looking at one with a fluted WG bezel and guessing that's not correct to the watch.
