Vacheron Constantin Creates Unique Dove Watch for Only Watch
This piece embodies the famous Mtiers d'Art cultivated within Vacheron Constantin: engraver, enameler, gemsetter and guillocher worked together to create this unique watch, especially developed for Only Watch 2011. Inspired by the technique of repetitive tiling designs known as tessellation, this Mtiers d'Art C Perspectives d'Art watch invites observers to explore a reality that plays with human perception. This watch combines several of the Manufacture's artistic crafts that vividly express the theme of perspective in order to accentuate the sense of depth, each according to its own technique. The gold, enameled and diamond-set dial adopts concepts such as geometry, symbolism and motion, subtly nesting and layering them in order to generate several levels of meaning and interpretation. This timepiece is inspired by a drawing by Maurits Cornelis Escher C a Dutch engraver and graphic artist (1898-1972) whose work was based on a subtle play on architecture, perspective and space. SM300 clasp on PO8500
Have struggled with the PO for over a month. The lack of micro adjustment is a real pain in the wrist. My AD ordered me the SM300 clasp and installed it today. Watch fits so much better and feels better balanced on the wrist with the larger clasp. May not flip this one now.

fiddling with spring bars (curved and straight), the FOIS is again dressed for the heat and humidity of the Georgia summer:I wish Omega would make end pieces for the ref. 1125 bracelet that would line up with the lug holes of the FOIS. That would make for a simple fix.
Calatrava appreciation thread
This forum seems to be somewhat Nautilus/Aquanaut-centric in my opinion. But I have always considered the Calatrava range to be the best representation of PP (that is not to say the others are not iconic). It's a shame that not as many Calatravas are shared cf. Nautilus/Aquanaut/Complications in this forum. Please show us your Calatrava's gents (and ladies)!
Serial Number Range Question
I have a 16610 (D serial) that i purchased new about 12 years ago. I also have a 16710 (also D serial) that i purchased second-hand. Per the warranty papers it was originally purchased about 3 months after i bought my sub.The actual serial numbers of the 2 watches differ by about 18,500. I'm just curious about this but am trying to figure out how close the production dates of these 2 watches might be. Any sense of production numbers in 2005/2006? in advance
