Opinions and advice needed please
Those of you that have been kind enough to read my recent threads will know that I am in the process of reducing my collection of Rolex from 6 to 2 or 3....the idea being to use the proceeds (give or take) to enter the world of AP and PP.My purchasing has been speeded-up by the recent actions of the Swiss National Bank and the impending/already happening price increases.....and I am delighted to say that I have an AP 15400 arriving in the next few days (can't wait!)I am on the waiting list for a PP 5167 at the Patek salon in Geneva, which should arrive around April/May. However....Whenever I look at wrist shots of the 5167 I love it, and many TRFers over on the Patek forum write how wonderful it is. 2017 Novelty
I was very excited to be able to try out the new model today. Although they are prototype, the weight and dimensions should be near identical to the real thing.I was most excited to try on the 6006, I feel in love with the busy and controversial dial recently. However, I am a bit disappointed, now my quest to try the old model 6000 begins. My wrist size is a bit less than 6.5 inches.Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk
Thinking of selling my 5711/1A?
Hi everyone. Debating to hold or sell my Patek 5711/1A blue for either 5712/1A or 5726/1A white dial. Is hard to justified for price differences? I do have a Patek 5065/1A. So similar? What to do??? What would you do? Thanks for any advice? Regards, Mike
Question regarding late 80s/early 90s DJ dial history
Do you know roughly what the history of these two similar but different dials is? Which one was first? When did they make the change? Both are blue sunburst, correct?
