Introducing: The New Bentley Bentayga SUV Will Feature A Real Self-Winding Tourbillon Clock From Breitling
The newest Bentley is a beast (no surprises there). The Bentayga is an SUV, but it’s an SUV in the same way the battleship USS Missouri is a boat. It’s what you get when Bentley does the SUV, in other words; which is to say it is lavish with a capital L in every aspect from its sheer size and weight, to its almost absurd power (the darned thing has a twin turbo W12 engine and will do 187 mph, according to Bentley, so if you’ve been lying awake at night wishing your heart out for a chance to go faster than an F-18 at takeoff in an SUV, you can stop wishing). Naturally, you don’t build a machine that can probably follow a main battle tank through Nature’s roughest terrain, and do 187 mph, and that has a champagne fridge in the boot (for real) without taking considerable pains with every other aspect of the vehicle, and in order that you may better tell the time whilst flattening careless wildlife with scarcely a detectable rattle in the opulently turne
All?!?!
Have mine on order! A 42mm ok bracelet with black ceramic bezel and orange 3,6,9. I cannot wait! I have been seeing people post pictures of their new 8500 series PO's throughout the board but was hoping to get a thread going to group them all.
When will the PAM base models stop producing?
Hi guys,New around here after roaming for quite some time. The ETA movements, PAM 112, 000, 005 etc - I've heard will stop produce soon.Since most of them are getting replaced by Panerai's inhouse movements, and I've also heard it before that its getting harder and harder to find the base models from AD's.So my questions are;1. When do you think these models will stop producing? 2. Do you think it's a good idea to hold on to them for a couple of years? Since if they stop producing they will obviously be hard to come across -> second hand price rise.Cheers!
3 SS Rolex Collection
Hi Guys,I put my name on the list at my local Rolex AD for the new SS BLRO. I have a strong purchase history with this AD and said I'll be one of the first it will be offered to once they get one. My current SS lineup includes the SD43, BLNR and Sub-C LV. I'm only going to keep 3 of the above and the BLRO is on the keeper list. Which other two would you keep? Thanks in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
First post - New 2017 Black GMTII - Xmas present
Hi All,I'd been after a new Rolex GMT II for sometime, I had passed through Heathrow a few times and only ever seen a SS/Gold GMT II in stock. I was really hankering after a SS black or the black/blue BLNR GMT II but only recently started to pursue it with any real anger. I thought I'd try and get a BLNR model first but these are proving very hard to obtain (I called a few contacts in Switzerland, Germany, Turkey (as I knew of the acute shortage in the UK) without luck. I didn't want to go to grey market and pay a premium (and take a risk of getting issues post sale) so decided to 3 days before Xmas (rather ambitiously) look for a SS model.I went to nearly every Rolex dealer in Central London in person (after first trying my local AD's) and as you can imagine was pleasantly smiled at but told that any SS sport model watch is in high demand and stocks are very low or order books closed with long waiting lists and a potential price rise due in 2018.I did manage to find 2 AD's with a SS/G
