Will the ap royal oak maintain value over the years
I have a tendency to flip watches...how does ap royal oak maintain value, as compared to the Daytona...
Vintage Omega crosshair dial question...
Having a discussion with another collector about vintage Omega Seamaster or Constellation crosshair dials. He insists that in the true Omega original dials, the crosshair line did not pierce the logo and connect at the 12 marker. He says the company didn't want anything to interfere with the logo. I think the opposite, having seen many many Omega crosshair dials with the line extending to the 12....and only one where the vertical inexplicably stops short of the Omega logo. who's right?
Information wanted on this steel Patek
When my father passed 2 years ago he left behind this beautiful Patek. I know that he inherited it from his father who passed in 99'. Neither one ever wore the watch, and it has been collecting dust for decades. This has however, kept it in a pristine condition. I am fairly certain that the watch is made of stainless steel, as I've compared the colour of it with both other SS items aswell as WG and P.There is a few things that I would like to know.1. What reference is this? 2. Where shall I go to replace the awful aftermarket bracelet with a leather strap + buckle? I'm from Sweden and have no AD's nearby. However, I will be visiting Geneva in ~2 weeks to visit CERN with my school. It might seem strange that I have never researched this watch thoroughly before as I'm addicted to watches haha, but I'm one out of two sons who both want it and we are yet come up with some sort of idea how to settle this. Therefore, the watch remains unworn and is rarely on my mind.
Need help making a decision
Hi all,I'm looking to add a Panerai to my collection and I can't decide between two models. I'm new to the brand so wondered if anyone could offer any thoughts, tips or advise? The two I'm looking at are the PAM01359 and the PAM00631. So what says the forum?
