a. Lange Sohne Lange 31 watch was a nightmare to the engineer
From the technical point of view, the watch a. Lange & Sohne Lange 31 was a nightmare to the engineer. Non-not because the concept is difficult, but because the accuracy. You see that the Lange 31 has a 31 days power reserve (744 hours), divided between two mainspring barrels. The challenge was to ensure that the power to move in springs slowly unwind for the rest of the movement was consistent, if not the shows would go that is too fast or too slow most of the time.

visit to Omega Boutique,Seoul (new sednagold and speedie content)
Hello EveryoneI recently visited an Omega Boutique in Seoul. The staff was very co-operative and sweet, and I was visiting to actually change my own 2534 on strap to bracelet, a change they made quickly and very kindly :)What I have to share with you are some comparison pics of the Speedmasters: the classic (3573), the co-ax chrono with enamel dial (3113.04)and the new 9300...I havent seen any pics of the three together...I really cant give any judgement on what is better or what would be my choice, because although I totally love the original classic 3570, these three are awesome in their own rights...the co-ax chrono is rather seen rarely but boy it is so stunning, with the classic layout, and a very deep and enchanting dial and proportions that sit exactly between the classic speedy and the new 9300, hence making a wonderful wrist presence without any complaint for large size....the 9300 has a great presence of its own, with a very clean layout and attractive reading easy, wonderful
Rolex YM40 116622 owners - thoughts?
Hey TRFers,I'm a little torn between the blue dial and rhodium dial for the YM40 116622. I already have the rhodium dial for an OP39 so part of me thinks having the blue dial would be a good choice. The rhodium dial, however, looks great too - especially with that cyan highlights! It's an obvious like as I have something similar already. When side by side, it looks like the sportier bigger brother to the OP which I quite like.I have a few questions that may help me settle, especially from those who have owned one or both for a while:1) Does the dial colour change after time for either? I have seen some pics where the blue dial looks dark and has lost it's luster - can't tell if that's an age thing or a lighting/photo thing? Suppose the latter but want to confirm.2) Does anyone know the history of the dials? Some interesting facts and the date of introduction? For example, i know the rhodium dial is found on the YM37 and the YM40 but is newer than the blue dial (introduced 2012??).3) Any
