Omega Co-Axial Movements
Hi all, wondering whether someone could help me.I am aware that Omega prior to (and slightly during) the 21st century have used ETA movements but have since switched to Co-Axial movements. Are all co-axial movements in house?Are just some considered in house?Or are none whatsoever considered in house?Due to my family's history (my great grand father developed anti-magnetic technology for the British saving thousands of allied lives because their subs were previously being blown up from magnetic triggered mines) I am interested in buying an anti magnetic piece. Its official..+ or - o (zero) seconds in over 1 Month!
Its official. My Planet Ocean is now + or - 0 (zero) seconds in over 1 month (32 days) and counting.My PO seams to gain 1/4-1/2 second a day on the wrist. It scrubs 1/4-1/2 second at night in its resting position with its crown up.
How do I sync. the seconds on a Speedmaster?
Hi all,I am the proud owner of a new cal. 1861 Speedmaster Pro. 50th Anniversary. The manual states: ...synchronize the seconds by pushing the crown back to position 1 to coincide with a given time signal.The problem is, when I pull the crown to position 2, the seconds dial does not stop. If I turn the crown counterclockwise, the seconds go back a bit and *sometimes* stops...but when I turn the crown clockwise again to adjust the hours/minutes, the seconds resume (even when in position 2).How are you guys syncing your seconds?(I am trying to set my watch to the time.gov website.)Thanks!
