ZENITH Heritage Pilot Cafe Racer
The Heritage Pilot Caf Racer by?ZenithZenith is taking a break from the sky and returning to dry land: as the name suggests, Heritage Pilot Caf Racer is inspired by the famous British motorbikes from the 1960s. The bikes were stripped back to basics (single seater, almost inexistent body, straight and low handlebar) to reach speeds of 100mph and their raw retro look oozes from the new model by Zenith. The Heritage Pilot Caf Racer has a sleek vintage steel 45mm case containing the self-winding El Primero 4069 calibre (50-hour power reserve) with "Caf Racer Spirit" engraved on the titanium back. Its textured slate grey dial bears an hour rim whose large Arabic numerals are coated in beige Super-LumiNova?. There are two vintage-style hour and minute hands whilst the seconds appear at 9. The chronograph seconds stand in the centre and the minute counter lies at 3.Price: 7,400 CHFBy Sharmila Bertinzenith

Vintage versus Modern Patek Philippe
As you will see from my recently created vintage Patek Philippe watches, I am considering getting on and after watching such sites as Chrono24, I find that there are quite a few vintage Pateks that are reasonably priced, and for a few thousand British pounds, gets you a watch from one of the top brands in the world. This started other questions bouncing around in my head. Lets classify a vintage piece of being at least 40 years old1) Would a vintage Patek Philippe have required more personal involvement -handmade then a modern piece?2) Would a vintage piece require more frequent servicing then a modern watch?3) Is servicing costs of a modern piece cheaper then a vintage watch? 4) What other pros & cons should you consider before choosing vintage or modern? Please dip in with your own thoughts?

114210 Air King bracelet - Hollow links?
Hello everyone,New comer here with a newbie question. I was in Tourneau today and a 114210 Air King caught my eye. When the sales person brought it out, it felt much lighter than the current production 114200 oyster perpetuals. The person said that the Air King has hollow links. Is this correct? I thought Rolex used solid links after 2000s. Based on the serial number, this was produced 2006/2007. Thanks for the info.
