Broken Omega Seamaster Jacques Mayol :(
My father gave me his old Omega Seamaster two years ago, it was in rough shape and unfortunately has totally seized up recently. Its a quartz movement, one of the first I think in a swiss dive watch, so I don't know what the odds of fixing it are. Its a beautiful watch similar to this - forums.watchuseek/f29/sol...ed-524009.htmlbut with the all stainless band. I'm trying to figure out what to do, should I search high and low for another one on the internet for the sentimental value, or can anyone recommend a course of action that I could undertake in Canada?- Thanks alot in advance!David

Omega Speedmaster 50th Anniversary
Hey,Just wondering what are peoples' thought about this watch (ref 311.30.42.30.01.001). Perosnally I think the normal speedy is superior but would like a second opinon. Everything seem to be the same, however, the Bazel is Aluminum and not SS which scratches easier. Also a friend who worked in a watch shop metioned that the bracelet is chunkier on the normal speedy. Patek Philippe at Tiffany & Co.
I visited the opening of the Patek Philippe Salon and Museum show at Tiffany & Co. in New York yesterday. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the NY area as the museum is only there through Saturday, it will also be show in Beverly Hills in May. Many beautiful and historic pieces as well as the new Patek Philippe watches announced at Basel 2008 were all there..pbase/treacle/pp_tiffany

Any pics of 292 or radiomir on 26/26 strap?
I usually only find radiomirs with a tapered 26/22 (or 27/22) sized asso strap. Anyone has a pic of their 292 on a 26/26 size, points for oem asso or jv!
