Jaeger LeCoultre Asks You A Dumb Question; Offers A Nonsense Response
"Hi, how's it going?""Just fine sir, care to view any fine Jaeger LeCoultre timepieces today?""Well, I don't know. What makes these.Jaeger LeCoultre watches.better than what I've got now?"(sigh) "Sirthese are what we call, 'real watches.' A a Jaeger LeCoultre watch represents an accomplishment combining elegance and discretion with a natural aura of serene confidence."(blank stare). "I don't.What exactly does that mean?""It doesn't matter what it means sir. I'm telling you, as I have been told, that it is the appropriate response to thesequestions..."Yea, I don't know what Jaeger LeCoultre was thinking behind this new idiotic marketing direction which is aimed squarely at one response from consumer. "Wait, what is Jaeger LeCoultre saying?" Self admittedly, Jaeger LeCoultre is stating that there seems to be some problem in the consumer's perception of the brand. When will the PAM base models stop producing?
Hi guys,New around here after roaming for quite some time. The ETA movements, PAM 112, 000, 005 etc - I've heard will stop produce soon.Since most of them are getting replaced by Panerai's inhouse movements, and I've also heard it before that its getting harder and harder to find the base models from AD's.So my questions are;1. When do you think these models will stop producing? 2. Do you think it's a good idea to hold on to them for a couple of years? Since if they stop producing they will obviously be hard to come across -> second hand price rise.Cheers!
SD43 Finally Incoming!!!
I put my name on the list in July of last year. Got the call form my AD that my it had arrived while on vacation in Europe. Part of my vacation was in Geneva on a watch binge.. The SS Rolex inventory in Paris and Geneva was just as bad if not worse than here in the US. I was offered a white dial SS Skydweller in Courchevel, but I declined as I am waiting for a blue dial from my AD. Well, the SD 43 is finally at home and I'm thrilled. It's going to make a great daily for me.
