Review: Steinhart Nav B-Uhr II B-Type
Steinhart is a brand with a reputation for producing timepieces that achieve a level of craftsmanship and acute sense of aesthetic that far out pace their price tag.? Even today, having been a Steinhart devotee for some time, I find myself pausing as I peruse the Steinhart website to think “How the hell are they selling that watch at that price?” ?Not too long ago I pulled the trigger on Steinhart’s Nav B-Uhr II B-Type, a pitch perfect homage to the classic German observation pilot watch, and it has certainly lived up to the Steinhart reputation.Movement: ETA 2824-2 Swiss Made automaticCase: satin stainless steelBack: Stainless steel screwedDiameter: 44 mmheight: 14.2 mmWeight: 107gDial: blackCrystal: Sapphire domed interior non-reflectingBezel: stainless steelIndices: Superluminova white C1Lug width: 22mmWater Resistance: limitedStrap: Juchten leather brown with double studsAs noted in my initial impressions of the Nav B-Uhr II B-Type, it is a recreation of the origi
INCOMMING - a long lost one...
I owned an Old Navitimer in the mid-90's and lost the watch in an unfortunate incident. It was my first nice watch I ever and I was really bummed. Finally found a great example and an offer I couldn't resist so I pulled the trigger.
Limited editions - light circulation
Hello all,This question can be applied to all top brands. I current have a pride of Italy RO and a PP 5711.I'm looking to add a dress watch one preferably in a precious metal and w moon phase. I find that I appreciate references with limited circulation like the 5711.I've considered breguet classique but I don't find the references to be scarce. Any interesting suggestions?Tx all.-T Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
