Museum objects produced by Jaquet Droz and his contemporaries (seen here) in the 18th century often take the form of automaton birds geared to emulate in eerie detail actual birds complete with movement and sound. Bird songs were produced by moving a piston style tube in and out of a shaft rapidly. A small air hole would whistle, sounding remarkably like a real bird. The mechanical bird figurines were designed to often have moving heads, wings, and even beaks. GentsI have been trying to locate a unworn 15300ST for months now without any luck which made me consider 15450ST. Havent found posts On It and no much talk about the ref. So I was wondering Why ! Your thoughts on using MSC OEM strap on 44RG?
I am contemplating in changing the oem black strap on my 44RG to the slightly brownish (much softer feel) michael Schumacher oem rubber strap.. I am wondering anyone here have done it? Any photos? What are your thoughts?Thank you! James

Leather Straps for Rolex Clasp?
Does anyone have any experience with a company that could make leather straps for the Rolex clasp?Something similar to RubberB in terms of concept?Obviously leather would have to be custom made because you can't simply trim it like you can with rubber.I'd like a custom leather strap that would fit into the Datejust 41 clasp.Don't get me wrong, I love just about every Rolex bracelet, but I think the DJ can look nice on a strap and would definitely get something custom to try out.I don't know if it's worth the hassle because any regular strap and buckle can work, but something custom while using the clasp would be ideal.
