Watches NEWS
GIVEAWAY: Yes Inca Watch
YES watches - based out of California - produce some of the most functionally interesting timepieces around. The company is decidedly boutique and produces a range of astronomical calendar watches with real utility for a lot of different types of people. Scientists, photographers, movie makers, and others find these watches to be indispensable tools. Understanding how these timepieces work is only a challenge until you figure out what the dial means. After that you come to appreciate the clever display of time and data that is unlike anything else. I've owned a Yes timepiece for about 7 years now and have yet to see anything quite like it.The YES Inca is one of the brand's flagship timepieces and is available in steel or titanium in a few styles. Here is your chance to win one. The watch case is 48mm wide with a style that mixes classic with "digital." Allow me to explain the dial. The single analog hand is a 24 hour hand showing the time. You have a digital time read out as well for a
AP 15400 price increase
Quite surprised to see how much AP 15400 preowned trading today. Why the price surges? Do you think it is affected by PP 5711's craze?Hopefully it will continue to increase though, make me relieved I bought it for good price last December. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
scary ROO problem
i first bought a ROO in may last year. it was defective in the sense that it would stop after a few hours no matter how many times i wound or wore it. AP acknowledged this and gave me a 'brand new' replacement. they said there was 'not enough oil' inside to lubricate the mechanical parts.however, just this week the replacement is showing the exact same symptoms!i was told to wind it 60 times and wear it, but it still stopped after a few hours.will be sending it in, but i'm really worried that after the warranty runs out i will encounter similar problems and the repairs will be expensive.has anyone else encountered this problem?
Need help making my choice.
I am adding to my small collection and have narrowed down my choice to 1 of 2 watches and they are night and day different. Option 1 a new Brietling Super Avenger or option 2 a Paneria 112 my other two watches are a Rolex Air King and a Corum Bubble 45mm. M.
Patek Philippe Aquanaut or Audemars Piguet Diver
Hello watch enthusiastsso i tried on the Aquanaut and the AP Diver this morning. i'm torn between these two beautiful pieces. so i would like to get your opinion on my next purchase. i already own the AP 15202 as you can see on the attached picture as well as the Rolex 16710. Which one would you choose and why? Thank you :-)
