Three of the nineteen jewels with this movement are defined in golden kittens, each jewel being of olive-cut and rings in the traditional manner.

Hi fellow TRF's Sometimes the collection becomes a bit big for only one wrist. And as time goes by, you are blessed enough to acquire more special pieces. From this roster, I need to let go of 3. Thoughts? Opinions? I have a clear idea of what I'm going to do but maybe you guys see something I might be missing. Fire away please and as always... thanks in advance. 5196..too big
Had a chance to try on a 5196 at boutique today.Case was flat with lugs not adapting to wrist well..leaving gaps wide opened. Looks and feels like a 40mm watch..which is dreadful for a dress watch.Dial lacks contrast and very difficult to read. Too much empty spaces on dial as well.Really wanna love this but gotta past. :(Ymmv

Pepsi OR Pepsi -- Rolex and Tudor
There are going to be lots of post arguing about this topic. Already there is a common theory that Rolex wants the consumer to buy a Tudor GMT instead of any other Omega at that price point. I have to say I want a Rolex Pepsi and since they will be so difficult to get and expensive I have plenty of time until I'm ready to buy one. That being said the Tudor GMT is much more advanced than something like a Rolex GMT Batman or Black due to the new movement and longer power reserve. IMOThe Tudor GMT is an attractive style/look/COPY of a vintage Rolex and I have to say when I look at the Tudor it more closely resembles the vintage Pepsi I sold when compared to the new Rolex Pepsi. Maybe I'm trying to talk myself into a Tudor GMT for under 4K instead of working hard, saving and fighting for a Rolex GMT.What do you guys think? I know my comments about the BLNR are going to piss everyone off but that's my opinion.

Tudor Black Bay Dark PVD durability
I've seen quite a few threads on the topic of the Black Bay Dark and thoughts about how the PVD will hold up but none of them seem to have been updated by BB Dark owners. My son wants one and I'm curious if anyone who owns the watch and wears it regularly has an opinion on the ruggedness of the coating. Thanks.Nw
