Last Chance To Enter For Free Swatch Automatic Chrono Watch Giveaway
The holidays are more or less over, the gifts have been given - perhaps a few left dangling "in the mail" somewhere - but few surprises are left. Did you get the watch that you wanted? Did you even ask for it? My philosophy is that unless someone knows exactly what you want (and where to get it), watch lovers should not be given gifts by non watch lovers. You know how it goes. "The sales person at Macy's said you'd love it..." (cringe).Well you can still be surprised and get a change to win this lovely new Swatch Automatic Chrono "Simply Pure" model watch. I have it here just eager to get on someone's wrist. It is so lonely sitting in it's chic box. I did a review of a different Swatch Automatic Chrono watch, the "Silver Class" here - that is part of the same new collection of timepieces. Remember that is has a new ETA automatic mechanical chronograph movement inside of it. Retail price is $370. The drawing ends on December 31, 2009. Go out with a bang for the decade. Hard time deciding between the AP's... I need your input! :)
Hey guys,I'm looking for a new AP to add to my collection very soon. It's also a present to myself for my hard work and for my 25th birthday. I turned 25 on the 30th of December.Anyway.I have been looking around for a while for a good rose gold 15300 with black dial and black alligator. I have finally found a good one located in the EU which is a + as well and it comes with 1y dealer warranty. The main problem is that I also got a very nice offer on 2 AP 26300's, one panda and one blue with orange. The offer is truely amazing price wise.It made me debate between either a 26300 or the 15300 rose gold. Both are in my top list of likings considering AP and I have a very hard time choosing between both. Both their design and movement is amazing. One of the reasons I would choose the SS RO chrono over the RG RO is wearability. Being in my mid-twenties I'm still pretty active. I would have less problems wearing the SS one vs the RG one. The RG one would be for evening wear/weekend wear only
ROO 44 Dial Layout and Styling
hey guys just wondering as i have been researching a few watches for my next purchase1. is the 42mm gone already you think? ie are we seeing the final trickle downs and then it will be discontinued2. whether yes or no for the above, as far as the 44 is concerned:a. will there be dials with arabic numerals? roman numerals? instead of the indiceshell even round hr marker??b. do you think we will be seeing the dashes of colour in a couple yrs time? inner bezel this color, motif that color, chronos a third or another?c. ever see a bracelet for the 44 in the future?? a full ceramic bracelet?!3. is my mind playing games or did someone actually post a pic of a roo with a white ceramic bezel? it was a 42 roo and some sort of LE or conceptlet us discuss :)
5726A on Wolf Winders
I just got a Wolf Designs Meridian M2.7 watch winder. I try to fit my 5726A on the winder cuffs and is concern of damaging the leather strap. The cuff's face is hard while the leather strap touching the edge is also hard. If I force to close the strap, will the leather strap be damaged? Has anyone fit a Patek leather strap on the Wolf Designs winders? Also, any advice how to fit the watch onto the Wolf cuffs? It seems like pain in the ass. It takes up less time/trouble to wind my watch then to fit my watch onto the cuffs.
