Hublot and Manchester United Raise Funds for UNICEF
Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver teamed up with players from Manchester United in New York City recently for the Hublot Million Dollar Challenge. The event, staged between the Flatiron and Empire State buildings, drew over 1500 people and raised funds for United for UNICEF, the English club's charity. Manchester United stars including Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher, and Edwin Van de Sar were on hand, as was team manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The stars tried their best to score a million dollar shot by hitting a small target with the ball. Goalie Edwin van de Sar came the closest, missing by a mere 3 inches. Regardless of the final score, Mr. Biver decided to write a check for $110,008 to United for UNICEF, which has raised more than 4 million dollars. It's one hundred thousand from Hublot, ten thousand from me and 8 dollars because it's a lucky number , he said to the roar of the crowd.Sir Alex Ferguson who was mobbed with love by New York lovers of soccer said: I love the Hublot
My First AP - Survivor
I realize this isnt for everyone but man am I loving this thing. Its incredibly comfortable and not nearly as massive as I expected it to be. The finish is simply incredible. Big thanks to Masterserg and several others on TRF for all the great advice!

This is just one thought that runs through my mind each time I put on this marvelous and historic watch! My lucky day was August 27th 2008, when I received the call from the Boutique that (my) Alaska was in!I have a hard time describing all the thoughts that went through my mind when I first saw it in person... So I'll just dig into the details straight away.I'm still stunned by the lavish presentation and packaging of the watch and its assorted accessories! The outer box looks huge and very promising:5) What is in the box?Well, first of all we have the watch... the wonderful white-dialed Speedmaster with the special hands and the original hesalite crystal signed with the Omega logo. Then there is the red anodized outer protective case that comes in two parts as with the original.Omega has supplied a set of tools (with spares) as well a set of extra spring-bars
Want to buy my first - where?
After years of chasing the dragon and buying Omega, Tudor, MKII, etc... It's time I end this and buy what I've always wanted.A no date sub with lug holes - so a 14060M.Where do I start? Been lurking on watchrecon and watchpatrol but want to ensure I'm buying the seller first and foremost. Love to hear how to go about doing this.
