Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse Limited Edition Watch
It was at BaselWorld 2014 that Omega?debuted the new X-33, which we referred to as "the real heir to the cult favorite Omega X-33 aviation/aerospace watch of the 1990s."?Now, as a new-for-2015 version?we have the Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse Limited Edition, which adds what first appears to be a stunning color combination that?links this space-age watch to an interesting?project called Solar Impulse. We were excited to go hands-on with the new?X-33 in 2014, a version with a?case and bracelet in grade 2 titanium and a color scheme that overall appeared to be?mono-chromatic C save for?a splash of red on the seconds hand. With the Solar Impulse limited edition?the X-33 receives?a much more colorful outfit and one that, with its deep blues and vibrant greens, is admittedly?more linked to planet?Earth than the cold nothingness of outer space. While the 45 millimeter wide case is still crafted from grade 2 titanium,?new is the?beautiful blue of the ceramic bezel, the green an
Can anybody enlighten me on the Chronostop?
Greetings TRF,The title pretty much says it all, I've been looking at Chronostop's for a little while now and was wondering what could be said about them. Fear not, I'm not going to ask you if I should go for it or the price I should pay for one...I have been thinking about a stainless steel chronograph for some time and a single pusher model would always be interesting to me, surely it would stand out in a collection (especially given the fact that all the chronograph's I've owned thus far were regular two pushers models). I know its dial is very simple and perhaps not very convenient given the complication it has but I really like it (whether we're talking about the regular one or the driver one). I know some come with tachymeters or diving bezels but the very simple one is the one I happened to see more. What I want to know is if anybody has some information on the model itself. In my research I've found out that they were designed and made for a younger generation of enthusiasts bac
newbie question what is the difference between 5416, 5450, 5250, 5350
Hello,What is the difference between 5416, 5450, 5250, 5350. They look the same to me.
Buying used Panerai watch..
Found a mint condition panerai I want. The seller is an authorized panerai dealer in US. They said the watch was originally sold by them as new, but I guess the original purchaser sold back to the dealer? The watch comes with triple boxes and papers. Serial numbers match between what's on the box, booklet, and watchSince this watch has solid caseback, I cannot see the movement. I asked the dealer to provide pictures of movement but they said they don't have tools to open the case. Also I asked them to provide an authenticity certificate, but they couldn't. They said I can't return it. So I am unsure if I should go ahead with the deal or not. What do you folks think? Should I go for the deal?
