MB&F And Alain Silberstein HM2.2 "Black Box" Watch
Sometimes I wait a bit after news "breaks" to discuss a topic. That was the case with MB&F's new HM (horological machine) 2.2 watch. The timepiece is a further extension of the quite pricey luxury HM2 watch. MB&F has given the watch several version done in combos of metals (gold, titanium...), ceramic, and of course colors and styles. I've worn a few of them, and admit they are sorta cool. One of the biggest criticisms of that watch is that it was unwearable. True, the the wide box is tough to wear on your wrist, but it isn't exactly "unwearable" (like the DeWitt WX-1). From a practical standpoint MB&F watches are wearable art. Few people would actually wear and HM1, HM2, or HM3 watch all the time, but I for one quite appreciate them. Max Busser of the brand is a marketing master as well. Hi everyone,I have a chance at getting either a brand new Panerai Pam 372 or a very good condition Pre-owned full complete set that is about $1100 cheaper. My question is, would you buy the New or Pre-owned Pam 372. My name is Pierson and I have a problem.... I'm ADD and even when i get my dream watch I keep looking at others. I've got a feeling that I should be in good company here. So, I own an awesome 10 Day Radiomir, the PAM 497. One of 250 made, rose gold, yada yada yada....and have been eying a swap for the Rolex Daytona Meteorite, gold, strap version. Should I? Basically a straight up trade. If it was the bracelet version i'd do it in a heartbeat. I do have a thing for space/nasa stuff. I'd kill to own a Omega Snoopy if anyone has one lying around ;)

HiQuestion for the UK members.Has anyone pulled the trigger recently on a PM piece from an AD?Only reason I ask is, I have been toying with the idea for a while now of trading a few pieces and stepping up into the big boy league with a nice PM piece.The option's are a YG Blue Submariner or RG Olive Green DD.Both stunning pieces and both very different watches so it's a tough choice.I'm comfortable with the Sub as I already have the Blue TT version (and is one of the watches I'd be using to make the trade) but the DD I'm still 50/50 on as I've never had a dress watch before only sports divers.Anyway, the real question is have any UK members bought either of those two pieces recently from an AD and if so what, if any, sort of discount did you manage to negotiate?Thanks in advance.Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
