Independent watchmaking is often regarded as something that is out of the reach for most watch lovers, but for those willing to do more extensive research, there are some more interesting alternatives out there. One of them is?Habring2. For the past decade, the brand has been committed to bringing innovative independent watchmaking to a more affordable price level.?This year, Habring2 celebrates its 10th anniversary with the Felix, their first watch to contain an in-house designed movement. We visit them to find out more about what goes into a Habring2 watch and provide also an in-depth review?of?their new Felix watch.Speaking of independent watchmaking, this round-up also sees an interview with Vincent Perriard and Dominique Renaud of HYT watches, which specializes in hydromechanical timepieces?C watches?that use liquids to tell time. Speedy model for sale at a Californian Burberry boutique
Even on our favorite Burberry Forum some people started to wonder whether it was a phantom Speedy or that it really exists. Well, we've definitely had it in our hands during our BaselWorld visit and in the meanwhile, we've seen a few photos floating around of this Speedy model for sale at a Californian Burberry boutique.
Omega SMP and the beach...
Thinking of taking my Seamaster professional with me to Mallorca. Is there a risk of getting sand under the bezel? From what I understand, the bezel is not easily removed on your own. Maybe I should take the submariner instead, so I can remove the bezel if it gets sand under it? Or am I overthinking this... ?
My baby is back!
My baby (5085/1A) hasnt had much wrist time since I bought it close to over a year now and did not notice that it was running 13 seconds fast daily until recently as I have been wearing the watch every day for 3 weeks. I gave it to a well known Authorized Rolex repair guru who is also PP trained for a tune up and now its running 2 seconds fast! The watch otherwise is in perfect condition as it was serviced before I bought it.I am a happy chap!!! It will be back on my wrist tomorrow night.
Planning to get a new Rolex
Hello Everyone!I am planning to get my first Rolex GMT II, but confuse which model to get. I want to wear it everyday, so not too fancy one. Its hard to decide which model to get on GMT.1) Batman (waiting is 6 months)2) 2018 Steel Pepsi (Waiting period not sure)3) GMT two tone Black and 18 ct gold (Waiting period not sure)Maybe you guys own these Rolexs previoulsy, and help to choose which one is best for everyday use. I also like GMT two tone (Black/Gold), but is it suitable to wear eveyday?? Also, new Pepsi GMT looks great but I think Jubilee doesnt go well with everyday casual outfit, what you guys think ?Thanks in advance,Nali
