Jaquet Droz Quantieme Perpetuel Calendar Watch Available On James List
Discussing Jaquet Droz watches in the US is almost futile. It isn't that you can't find this small Swatch Group brand in the US, but rather that it is extremely rare. I saw my first one in Europe personally. I've always liked this brand but haven't known what to make of it. A lot of their designs are good, but currently they lack direction and leadership as far as I can tell. The last time the brand was really on my radar in any serious way was when Manuel Emch (current CEO of Romain Jerome) was the head honcho over there. This Jaquet Droz watch from a few years ago is a great example of what the brand is capable of in terms of design. This specific model is itself extremely rare said to have been made as a limited edition of just 8 pieces. 8 being an important number and symbol for the brand as it is a good luck number in Asia (where a lot of Jaquet Droz pieces are apparently sold). This model is the Quantieme Perpetuel Calendar watch in 18k rose gold. There was another version that wa
How about an Aquanaut?
How about an Aquanaut 5167 A or a 5164 A for a OWG? How practical is this watch compared to a steel Rolex? Lifestyle consists of Office work/ construction sites, beach/pool, traveling, gym and other semi active activities. I don't think I beat my watches to the point of only a gshock could handle me but I don't baby them either. I just want a watch that has a low profile, rugged, efficient that I could use it all the time, no limitations. Note: I considered the 5711 but I've come to realize I prefer rubber. Thanks!
Thanks to you all. :) :)
I was informed that Panerai was on the way to produce a special edition model exclusively for their boutique in Istanbul. Last week, I had a call from them telling me the watch is there and waiting for me. I went there in a flash. My first impression is quite positive. The watch is very attractive and much better than I expected. Generally speaking, Panerai has a great workmanship on ceramic. They have many beautiful models in the collection. One of them is PAM00292 and this new Special Edition has the same case. Generally speaking, Panerai has great workmanship on ceramic. They have many beautiful models in their collection. One of them is PAM00292 and this new Special Edition has the same case with 292. The reference of the model is PAM00613 which has not been annouced yet on Panerai's web site. The watch is limited to 101 pieces and the retail price is 8.300 euros. The sandwich dial looks quite impressive on this ceramic case. It is similar to what Panerai used on both PAM00441 and

My Latest Trip to Rolex AD
Saturday was my latest trip to go see the authorized Rolex dealer closest to me and there were a few people in the Rolex section more crowded than usual trying on datejusts. Observation was there was one new GMT and I don't mean Baselworld new, I mean one new GMT for sale which was the old black cerachrom bezel. Two Daytona's I'm sure they were PM but still no sports model stainless steel watches.Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
