Forged Carbon 15706AU vs Ceramic Diver 15707CE
I found a very good price on a mint FC Diver 15706AU with 1 year extended warranty. My first preference was the ceramic 15707CE, but this FC is $6K less than the few ceramics I have been able to hunt down worldwide. My wrists don't handle the 44's and of all the 42's this is the lightest and sportiest I could find for use at gym, beach, activities etc. I hear the debate on FC and some of the issues with it, and honestly that is my only hesitation vs ceramic. Colors are fine on both. Yellow strap will be a definite accessory.I went through the whole lineup of AP 42's and these two are the finalists. Can any FC diver owners help put my mind at rest with the FC case?Or should I just wait and keep looking for a ceramic (and pay more).I am not holding my breathe that Basel 2018 will bring back the CE or FC diver... Though it would be niceCarbon-Diver.jpg

Naturally, the anticipation over the next day and a half built up to the point where I was going to lose my marbles. Thankfully I survived and finally hit the boutique earlier today. Now, brace yourselves. As much as I've been looking forward to this watch and thought I'd immediately buy it, I wasn't completely sold. I don't know if I built it up too much in my head but it didn't have the same effect that the DSOTM had one me when I first saw it. I suppose this is naturally considering it's basically the same watch with a few cosmetic differences. Don't get me wrong, it is lovely but it didn't have enough to hook me immediately. The couple of quibbles I had - the lighter colour and hig

Just got my 114060 today to complete what I anticipate will be my 3 piece set for the next several years. DateJust - Dress with black shoes. IWC - Dress with brown shoes. Sub - All-purpose. Thoughts? If I were to eventually add a fourth, what should I consider? Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
