Watch Experts Network: ‘Geo. Graham Tourbillon – watch review by ESCAPEMENT’
Angus Davies falls for the charms of the Geo. Graham Tourbillon, a slender timepiece equipped with a micro-rotor and tourbillon. This watch reveals another side to the brand which takes its name from the legendary English clockmaker, George Graham (1673-1751).I always find it fascinating to hear third parties describe my children. At times, I immediately recognise the person they are describing. Conversely, there are occasions when the person they mention does not sound familiar and I struggle to assimilate the person they characterise. On reflection, this is not surprising. I have a professional persona which I present to fellow journalists and representatives from watch companies, but I also have another side to my character which chooses to behave like a fun-loving teenager, quaffing life in hearty gulps.Graham, the Swiss watch brand, based in the watchmaking haven of La Chaux-de-Fonds, has always been synonymous with large cased, avantgarde timepieces. 15703 or 15400???
Ok guys, need some help!Should I keep my 15703 and buy a bracelet, or just sell the 15703 and use the bracelet money to help buy the 15400? Thanks!
My new Moon watch
I just sold my Omega Seasmaster GMT, which was getting little or no wrist time, and bought an Omega Speedmaster 3570.50 Moon watch and couldn't be happier about it! I always felt that with its long history a Moon watch was a must in mine or anyone's collection and luckily found one in mint condition (thanks to DavidSW) that will compliment my early 1960's pre-moon watch nicely. Here are a few pics:Omega Seamaster GMT - OutOmega Speedmaster 3570.50 Moon - In

Three Yr warranty from Tournau
Purchased last week NIB Pam 104. For $500 I can purchase their extended warranty that included new straps if damaged, sweat marks etc., cosmetic scratches, dings, etc., and also a full servicing that alone costs over $500. Now I know most say pass on these but I plan on keeping it and can be rough on the watch so with all the inclusions should, in your opinion, spend the $500? Also consider I got 20% of the list price and it's a 2105 production with warrens card, box, papers, etc. what are your thoughts especially since that alligator strap is over $400 alone? Thanks in advance for your replies.
