Audemars Piguet outdid themselves for 2017 in the ROO collection.
The 2017 SIHH offerings were exceptional and I had to be a part of it.First off, the new 26401RO subtly overtook the old generation. I was in denial since I owned the previous model. The new RO color scheme just works much better when on the wrist. With the black subdials, the dial itself looks less busy and lets the details really shine especially with the rose accents. The old RO was a hit in photos, but on the wrist it was too much going on. Was it worth the premium to upgrade to the new RO? Yes absolutely!If your spending this much money on something, why not spend a bit more instead of settling.The unexpected star of the show is the 26400IO. I purchased both of these timepieces sight unseen. When I arrived the IO SCREAMED at me. Just like any other Royal Oak, PICTURES DONT DO JUSTICE! The bezel works better with this dial than any other 44mm. 15400ST Daily
Hey All,I need a bit of help picking out a new watch. I'm looking between a 15400ST in white or black dial vs a SS Daytona for a daily. Now i love the Ap more, but just waned to know how the stainless wears daily. I have a 26320OR on strap and i love it but not sure how it would hold up if i wore it daily.

The long wait begins
It's only June and I've already spent way too much money on watches this year...They are currently living comfortably in my AD's vault in a distant land, and I won't be able to see them until the end of the year when I finally have some time to visit.
