Tokyo Street LED Scope Watch Targets Time
The Japanese seem hell bent on devising new ways of telling the time. Countless experimental watches both novel and down right silly have been released over the years with an alternative to the traditional dial or digital approach to telling the time. Lots of them have you counting dots or lines, and doing some formula in your head to tell the time. I admit that many of them have looked pretty cool, I'd nay choose them as a device for chronometric measurement. The two biggest purveyors of such novelty watches are Tokyo Flash and Tokyo Street. I doubt that the name similarity is a coincidence, but they are separate companies as far as I can tell. While most of these watches succeed in creating visual interest, few are particularly useful in my humble opinion. Once in a while they come out with something that I might actually use, and the Tokyo Street LEC Scope watch is one of them.Looking at the watch you can see two perpendicular lines that intersect on a X/Y axis. Heading to the Cayman Islands with my Diver!!!
First trip for my Diver and also the first time it will come in contact with saltwater. I will report as much as possible from there and let's see how well the rubberclad on the crowns tolerates the salinity of the water. I will rinse it very well after using it and hopefully there will be no white saline scuff on it. Stay tuned!!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1338694699.099033.jpgSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Private sellers offering warranty cards signed by AD without date filled in
Questions for the forum...I'm looking to purchase one of the Omega PO ceramic bezel NIB watches from the sales forum. There seem to be several sellers offering NIB watches with warranty cards with AD stamps, however the date isn't filled in, and the sellers have disclaimers they're not affiliated with Omega--they're just private sellers.1) How do these sellers obtain watches without the date filled in? Why are there so many people offering NIB Omega watches without being affiated with Omega?2) If I just filled in the date on the card using the date I purchase the watch, would Omega actually offer a 4 year warranty? Or is there something Omega uses to determine the exact date this watch was sold by the AD (perhaps by looking up the serial #)?Thanks in advance
