AP Bands hard to make?
I have been told by a couple people who make bands for other company's watches that they do not put effort into making bands for AP because they are more of a challenge to make with the unique strap setup. But honestly, looking at it...I may be nieve, it looks like almost a regular strap then you punch out to marks where the metal adapter that's unique to ap would go? Not too hardDoes anyone think the lack of 3rd party straps is really due to the fact that it may be challenging to make (although I don't think it would be that more challenging than normal) or do you think it's more so just due to the demand (lack there of) and the size of the market based off the number of watches produced vs say Panerai?Just pondering.....
New to forum and AP
HelloMy name is Peter. I'm about to turn 43 so convinced myself and my wife that I couldnt live without this piece of AP.FYI my wife have had the opportunity to see her husband celebration his own birthday with a new watch around 3-4 times every year for the last couples of years:-)That Said ... I have to flip them to afford new ones, telling her everytime that this is a keeper... Her only comment is... Please...:-) Anyway , starting with Tag Heuer, Omega, Panerai, Rolex, Iwc, Zenith and Rolexes again. Never thought I would be able to afford an AP and when I tried on ROO's I found them too busy and Big. When the Diver got released I tried it on and found it very very nice and clean.Still a lot of money for me at that time and there was a waiting list as well. Two weeks ago my usual dealer had one on its way. A year old with b&p and both rubber and bracelet.Atm I was very happy about my current Rolex polar 42mm and the 3 weeks old d Series gmt16710.But , in my head It was the Diver

Thoughts on trading 114060 for SD43?
Hey everyone-Been tossing this idea around in my head as to whether or not it's worth trading in my 114060 for a SD43. Right now my Sub is my one and only and my daily wearer. Not sure if it's just the chase but I can't stop looking up pictures of the SD43 and it's perfect proportions. Things I like about the SD43 are the increased wrist presence, the date and the better proportions. However, it's obviously quite a bit more expensive (roughly twice the price I'm guessing based on what I'd get for my trade and what the price point for the SD43 currently is. I was able to try on a SD43 a few months ago and remember thinking how much thicker it was than the Sub. Anyways, just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were who may have done this already.
