Watches NEWS
UTS Adventure GMT
12 years ago Mechanical Engineer and watch collector Nicolaus Spinner had a vision to create his own watch. Having access to the latest CNC machines in Munich, Germany helped make the dream a reality. The UTS Commander was born, a unique watch case that featured a 45mm case with front and back sapphire crystals. Fast forward and UTS Watches is proud to present the Adventure GMT. Building on the Commander case foundation, UTS adds an automatic Valgranges GMT movement. Super-Luminova glowing in bright blue. Six hex screws connect through front-middle into the back watch case. The Adventure rating is typical conservative rating of an engineer. Each watch is tested well beyond the printed specifications. All watches feature UTS in-house case construction. The Adventure GMT is limited to 200 pieces and priced at $4000.Additional technical information appears below the images, which may be enlarged with a click.Technical SpecificationsGerman Stainless Steel, 1.4404, brushed finishDimensions:
Victorinox Swiss Army Watches To Reach Customers Via iPhone App
You've been hearing about watch makers creating iPhone app versions of their watches, but Victorinox Swiss Army has taken the concept to the next step. In addition to including digital versions of their watches (not likely all of their watches) they are using the "always connected" feature of the iPhone and the power of the iPhone app to keep potential customers up-to-date with the latest watches and news from the company. In fact, you can even locate authorized dealers right from the application. It will use the iPhone's built in GPS to located the nearest store to you. Lots of potential, but it will require a dedicated team at Victorinox to handle it all in the right way.The idea behind the application is help connect with the estimated 25 million potential users who may be interested in the free application. Being able to directly send information to interested customers is extremely valuable, and can result in much faster and wider customer education of new products as well as give

Not incoming... HERE!!!
Got my new Forged Carbon today. Its pretty sweet, heavier then expected (119.9 grams) and wears larger then expected too. I couldnt imagine a Legacy or T3!!! Thanks to Thomas and Ken in helping me with this decision... and of course all the enablers posting their FC pix!!!
Lost the Love (1680)
I'm relatively new to this form but, have taken away many suggestions And a wealth of knowledge from All through the years. I have a Red 1680 and for many years have contemplated removing the cyclops for a T-19 or superdome. I don't think I could ever part with her, as she has sentimental value, otherwise it would make it that much easier to delve into a 1665 or 5513 (problem solved). I know that there are a large majority of purists who believe NOS all the way(and most of the time I'm in 100% agreement) I've built show cars for many years, and although trophies are nice, I believe that the only way to truly enjoy them, is to get as much seat time (behind the wheel) as possible. Your thoughts??
