Landmark Lower Manhattan Clock Tower Saved From Condo Conversion
Last October HODINKEE featured a guest editorial from Mr. Troy Torrison, board member of the Tribeca Trust, describing the struggle (and lawsuit) to save a landmark clock in New York City. Question on a little issue
I bought my Seamaster 222080 from a trusted fellow TRF member. Watch is great and running in excellent condition -1 +1 on a daily basis. He said it was previously serviced at an Omega AD abot 5-6 months ago by the previous owner. Which is great considering I dont have to service it in a few years. However, my issue is that this AD did a sloppy job in the cleaning. On the inside of the saphirre crsyrtal you can see cloth streaks (you know as if you cleaned it with a dirty cloth) It is only noticeable when the light hits it at a certain angle though. It is on the whole crystal, man that gets to me!!! What can I do to get this fixed? Do I call Omega? This irritates me and again, it is NOT the TRF members fault but that AD that did this sloppy job!
