Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelGraph
Carl F. Bucherer’s Patravi TravelGraph combines two of the most useful and popular functions: a chronograph and GMT. The brand has invested over a million dollars to bring this watch to life. All displays are controlled by the automatic caliber 1901 movement, developed by Bucherer, together with Swiss specialists well known for creating mechanical watch complications. The 1901 is no ordinary caliber. Find specs, pricing and wallpaper inside. The automatic caliber 1901 is unique to the Patravi TravelGraph, and it offers some sophisticated features. The second time zone (GMT) is displayed by the red hand and the bezel, complete with 24-hour markings. Current local time is shown by the conventional hour hand, which can be quickly set forwards or backwards without affecting timekeeping because the movement continues to run when the quick setting mechanism is used. The date also changes forward and back, corresponding to the hour hand. The Patravi TravelGraph is also well designed on t

November saw some pretty exciting auctions and the good news is, the season is far from over. Come December, Phillips' first auction in Hong Kong will offer plenty of incredible vintage grails. Think for instance of the rarest perpetual calendar from Patek Philippe, or a Rolex Daytona Solo, or an incredibly elegant Crash from Cartier London. We should also not forget a dreamy Datejust in pink gold, as well as a seriously enticing chronograph from Vacheron Constantin. Let's focus now on our 10 favorite vintage watches coming up next week. Only two examples have been found in a white-gold case, and this one comes i

Omega Planet Ocean 2901.50.91 Boxes/papers
i Stupidly purchased this watch from a Tourneau back before i found this site. So i 'settled' on the right watch ..but no box, papers, or any other materials other than the generic Tourneau crap. Anyone know how to potentially pick up any materials for this watch? it was new in 2005. I bought it used in 2007.Also would be interested in a good source for the rubber strap for replacement sometime soon. Thanks for any advice.David
Would or wouldn't you
I currently have a 5127R, which I use as my days off piece and a 5167A for work and swimming etc.As I suspect with many of us the hunt can be more fun then actually achieving the goal. For the past few months, I have been looking to get something else. And my choices have varied from a Rolex Day Date, FP Journe, Lange & Sohne and also back to Patek Philippe. With the Patek I was looking, as per a previous thread to get a 5146P. But a preowned piece are few and far between.Recently I saw a 5146R being sold by a grey dealer here in the UK. Now I have always loved R/G and the 5146 was the first Patek model that I owned. The price of the watch was reasonable. So I contacted them to see if they would be interred in doing a trade against my pieces. I half expected them to come back and say yes and that they would offer X amount for mine and I would have to make up the difference in cash. But much to my surprise they offered me 2,300 more for mine then theirs. Which would make a nice chang
