SIHH 2017 - Pictures & Articles
Hey everyone! Hope all is well. It's about that time of the year again where I get the luxury of heading out to SIHH in Geneva. I'll be attending the show and seeing all the new novelties so I thought I would start a thread that we can have and anyone can place images of the new pieces that are released.I will be taking photos, as well as posting links to the new articles and press releases. Links I will try and keep in the first thread if possible. Hopefully Mods can sticky this thread!

Hi Guys... This is a watch you do not see everyday... here she is.. one of my favourates and this is why.. because for me it represents a lot of soul.... and demonstrates Panerais's Engineering Might and its ability to cater for the best......Mike Horn (a great South African modern day explorer, Chris must be pleased) started testing Panerai watches in 2001.. he planned a trip to treck the Antarktic and Panerai designed a special watch for him. it was AMAGNETIC where all the components would not get effected by the magnetic field and it also had special fluids as to operate on extream temperature.. Mike horn wore the watch during his trip and said at under -70deg C, all his sophisticated instruments froze on him with the exception to the Panerai ARKTOS. the Pam 92 ARKTOS was issued as limited edition of 500 in 2004.. after the first stage of the treck Mike asked for the watch to be modified to have the GMT function... Panerai then quickly modified the watch and sent it to him... hence

newly serviced Exp II running fast
my 16570 came back from the Toronto RSC 4 days ago after a full service. it's running nearly 4 seconds fast / day.i've been wearing it 16 hours / day and have it on a winder overnight.should i give it a few weeks to see if it comes to w/in spec, or should i expect it to be more accurate immediately? i paid for it, i would like the accuracy.
