Polishing your 18K gold watch...
Sorry, I tried to find a generic forum to post this in, but apparently our general discussion isn't for watch related chat.. So being that I have a new 18K Rolex, and many of you likely also have one, or a TT.. I though maybe I'd get your thoughts on this product that I've used in the past for taking small micro scratches off other gold jewelry, but never a watch (yet).. it's not meant to remove deeper scratches or substitute for a proper refinish.. The yellow is a bit more abrasive but still more or less leaves a mirror finish, and the blue even more so... Anyone have experience with these or recommend something even better to get rid of those OCD induced micro scratches?.sunshinepolishingclothI know, I know.. enjoy the wear and tare and let the watch get an individual identity, etc... but frankly, at least right now, I enjoy the mirror finish too much to watch it slowly turn into a swirly mess... much like when you buy a new car and that paint is swirl free, mirror like etc..PS

GMT owners in the aviation business
I'm wondering, as the GMT was developed as a pilot watch,. how many GMT owners are really working in the aviation business? not necessarily as a pilot, but in the aviation industry in general. ?I own a GMT batman, and I'm in the aviation business for 30 years, started as a mechanic, tech. specialist, and now have my own company on buying and selling aircraft and parts, and recycling aircraft.i'm traveling a lot, and in aviation most of us 'work' with zulu time, the GMT is besides a very beautiful watch also a real tool for me. So that made me curious how many of 'us' are out there,.

I have tried them both on and like them equally, so I am trying to think of pros and cons. Whichever one I purchase it will be used. Not paying new prices. Hi guys!I wanted to buy 116234 with silver face but while traveling I got an absolute killer offer on a blue one! 22% off the price tag.Here's the beauty Pulled the trigger.I'm still pondering was it the right decision.I was also told that for 500� I can get the dial replaced at Rolex no problem. I would have two dials and still pay less than what I was offered on high street.What are your thoughts buddy's? Who prefers the blue or the silver!

Datejust 41mm but which dial?
I have got a hankering to own/wear the new 41mm Datejust but I am unsure on which dial colour to go for!I have tried them all on and these were my observations.Blue Dial, looks great and I love the way that it changes colour under a different light. Is it a harder colour to get hold off?Black Dial, is not a solid black, when compared to my Sub, but instead has a slight grey tint to it.Rhodium Dial, looks amazing, but I am unsure if the dial reflects too much.White Dial, sadly to me on a 41mm looks too much.Silver Dial, was not one that I was keen on.Which dial did you choose and why?Photos are always welcome.Once I have sorted that problem out, I then need to choose between fluted or smooth and Jubilee or Oyster
